Akamedia will be at "Visa pour l'image" in Perpignan from the 3rd to the 6th of September. Amongst the main players of the photo industry (Getty, Corbis, Sipa, AFP, EPA, Abaca...), Akamedia offers a distribution solution dedicated to video and particularly to video news thru its news service newspusher. Akamedia will also present in Perpignan "The VIP Room", its white label distribution solution for video content, launched last June at Cepic 2009. Akamedia will come to Dresden for the 2009's congress of the CEPIC, the Coordination of European Press Agencies (Press Stock Heritage). As the first video member of the coordination, Akamedia will participate during the congress in the third international Photo Metadata Conference. Our CEO, Lionel FAUCHER will lecture about metadata applied to video. He will then join Christina VAUGHAN, CEO of Imagesource, Dr. Stephan BLEEK, CEO of Framepool AG, Gary MORGAN, CEO of SplashNews and Thomas SEWING, Director Sales Merchandising & co-productions of ZDF Archive into a keynote about the business perspectives of the video opportunity for picture agencies.
